  • At BrewCity, our mission is simple: give our members every opportunity to become fit beyond expectations in an environment that is effective, fun, and quintessentially "Milwaukee." Founded in 2011, we pride ourselves on our experienced coaches, our robust class schedule, our tough and intelligent workout programming, our fantastic facility, and most of all, our amazing community.‍ ‍

    Whether you’re brand new to working out, or a competitive athlete, you’ll be glad you joined!

  • Absolutely not. This is the most common myth about CrossFit. Our program is designed to meet you exactly where you are today. Whether you are a former athlete or haven’t stepped into a gym in years, every workout can be ‘scaled’ or adjusted to your current fitness level and ability. Our goal is to help you get into shape, not wait for you to be in shape before you join us.

  • Every class is led by a certified coach and follows a structured flow:

    • Warm-up: A dynamic start to get your heart rate up and prep your joints.

    • Skill/Strength Work: Focused time to practice a specific movement or build strength.

    • WOD (Workout of the Day): The high-intensity portion of the class, which changes every day to keep things exciting and effective.

    • Cool-down: Stretching and recovery to ensure you leave feeling great!

  • Wear comfortable athletic clothes that you can move in easily and a pair of flat-soled athletic shoes (like trainers). Bring a water bottle and a positive attitude! We provide all the equipment you’ll need, and we have towels (and showers!) and hydration available on-site.

  • Yes! Many of our members come to us with previous injuries or physical limitations. Because our coaches are with you during every workout, we can provide specific modifications for any movement that doesn’t feel right for your body. Safety is our priority, and we work with you to ensure you are building strength without compromising your health.

  • The best way to start is to sign-up for a No-Sweat Intro or a trial class. This gives you a chance to see the space, meet our coaches, and discuss your goals without any pressure. From there, we typically recommend an On-boarding package (Foundations) where we teach you the essential movements safely before you jump into our regular group classes.
