Group
Classes

CrossFit Group Class

Our primary program at BrewCity is our CrossFit Group Classes. CrossFit classes are one hour in duration and typically consist of a group warm-up, strength or skill work, and the Workout of the Day. Workouts are constantly varied and use functional movements and relatively high intensity to increase your work capacity over a broad range of time and modal domains.

We have a robust schedule of CrossFit classes throughout the day and over 60 classes each week.

Olympic Weightlifting

BrewCity CrossFit is home to the Milwaukee Barbell Weightlifting Club. MBB participants train to compete in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting, which involves maximal lifts in the Clean & Jerk, and the Snatch. We provide quality instruction in these two lifts and provide a program that is designed to get our athletes lifting their best safely.

Not planning on competing as a weightlifter? We also provide several “all levels” weightlifting classes each week that are perfect for CrossFitters or rookies looking to get stronger and move better with a barbell.

CrossFit Elements

CrossFit Elements is our Beginner or New-to-CrossFit program. In the Elements program, we teach you all of the foundational movements of CrossFit so that you're ready to hit the ground running when you join CrossFit Group Classes. We conduct Elements in 1-on-1 or small group sessions that can be scheduled at your convenience.

You’ll leave Elements ready to hop into any group class and perform the movements safely and with confidence.

Open Gym

While we strongly encourage our members to attend classes and follow our program, we do offer Open Gym all day long. Members can use the facility any time to do some supplemental lifts, an extra WOD, ride a bike or run on a treadmill, or follow another program. Open gym is included in all of our Unlimited memberships or as an Open Gym Only membership.

Gymnastics

The CrossFit Gymnastics class is a skills focused class designed to improve your technique in various bodyweight/gymnastics movements, including pull-ups, muscle-ups, handstand push-ups, handstand walking, toes-to-bar, and rope climbing. We focus on a specific skill each month and follow progressions in order to improve at that month’s movement.
